The Lindsay Foundation is pleased to support one of New Zealand’s earliest charities, Home and Family Counselling. Founded on April 25th 1893 by Henry Wilding under the name of ‘The Society for the Protection of Women and Children’ – 126 years on, the current demand for services still remains high with Home and Family offering counselling services to over 1000 low income families in Auckland each year purely on a donation basis with no client ever being turned away.
The Lindsay Foundation is supporting the delivery of the new Triage Counselling Pilot Programme, a programme that has the potential to change the lives of over 500 low income families this year and the lives of many more for years to come.
