12 Jan 2022Serving the Tasman region since 1991, the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Trust administers a professional air rescue service throughout the Nelson, Tasman, Marlborough & Buller communities.
The team are supported by highly trained personnel (and volunteers) for the treatment and recovery of people needing urgent medical care and assistance.
Operating within a 24/7 365 day environment and with over 500 missions flown each year (that’s roughly 10 a week) the crew play a vital role in such a vast, challenging but ultimately picturesque landscape.
