We believe it is absolutely essential that guide dogs in training get the best possible start to their careers.

Sadly over the past few years, the impact of COVID-19 and significant outbreaks of Kennel Cough have made it even more challenging to graduate enough guide dogs to meet Blind Low Vision NZ’s needs.

The building of new kennels to facilitate breeding, training, and graduating successful guide dogs is long overdue.

The Lindsay Foundation is thrilled to once again partner with Blind Low Vision NZ and assist with the kennel rebuild to help shape the future success of guide dogs across New Zealand.

“We are enormously grateful to the Lindsay Foundation for their support of this critical initiative. We have enjoyed a long and enduring relationship with the Foundation, and their generous support will help bring this essential Guide Dogs project to life”.
